Mason-NOVA partnership seeks to improve the transfer process

By using guided pathways and single points of entry for admissions, financial aid and advising, a new “compact” between George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College aims to make seamless the transition from two-year to four-year institutions — saving students the equivalent of a year’s expenses at Mason, officials said.
