Position Posting: Director for Assessment and Compliance

The Director of Assessment and Compliance at Regent University manages aspects of the university assessment processes and supports accreditation protocols and reporting under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Academic Policy and Compliance. This includes learning outcome assessment reporting, survey analysis and administration, database maintenance, reporting, and coordinating annual and periodic reports related to accreditation. The Director also manages compliance monitoring, record keeping, and consultation with internal and external stakeholders, especially related to state authorization.  Essential duties will include:

  • Monitor and facilitate assessment reports
  • Encourage and train faculty and staff with institutional assessment practices
  • Maintain and update Regent’s assessment software with appropriate content
  • Monitor and train appropriate stakeholders on the institution’s compliance reporting process
  • Engage with state authorization reporting and compliance standards
  • Remain current in compliance issues by proactively researching new regulations and other areas of compliance
  • Ensure that deadlines related to assessment and compliance are met
  • Chair and facilitate subgroups designed to review SACSCOC standards and produce response narratives
  • Coordinate with various academic units in preparing specialized accreditation reporting
  • Remain current on accreditation standards and proactively inform the institution of any updates or changes
